SATSUMA CREATIVE / TAIPEI — WEBSITE
★ OPEN FOR PROJECTS

A website isn't finished when it's built. It's finished when people find you.An official site is where trust lives.

Social media is not a website — it can't represent you in full. Domain, design, build, launch and the care afterwards — one person, end to end. No subcontractors, no changing account managers. Static architecture loads fast, and the structured data is written so both Google and AI assistants can name you.

SITUATION 1

You have a Facebook page and an Instagram account, but when a customer googles your business name, nothing useful comes up.

SITUATION 2

You used a template platform. The result looks like every competitor, changing one line means digging through a builder, and the monthly fee never stops.

SITUATION 3

The person who built your last site is unreachable. Nobody knows whose name the domain sits under, and there are no admin credentials. The site is effectively locked.

01 / Basics

Three things to understand before reading any quote.

Most first-time buyers get stuck on jargon, not budget. Three minutes here and you'll know what every other quote is actually selling.

1 / DOMAIN

Your domain

= your street address online

yourshop.com. You rent it from a registrar, typically $15–25 a year, and it is renewed annually — miss a renewal and someone else can buy it.

One rule matters: register it in your own name. Plenty of businesses discover years later that the domain sits in a former developer's account. When that person disappears, so does control of your address.

2 / HOSTING

Hosting

= the shop premises itself

Your site files have to live on a computer that stays switched on around the clock. That's hosting. Cost scales with traffic; a small site is usually well under $100 a year.

We build static sites — in plain terms, the pages are built in advance and served as-is instead of being assembled on every visit. That makes them fast and cheap, and with no database sitting at the front door, far harder to attack.

3 / SEARCH

Search

= how people actually find you

Having a domain and hosting does not mean Google can find you. Google has to crawl your site and understand what you sell before it will place you in results.

That work belongs in the build, not bolted on afterwards. Retrofitting always costs more.

Since 2026 there is a second layer: people ask AI directly. "Who makes custom cakes in Taipei?" — whether your name appears in the three ChatGPT returns depends on the same discipline, expressed differently. AI assistants favour pages that state things clearly and are well structured, not pages stuffed with keywords. We build for both layers.
Still not sure which one you need? The chat widget in the corner is our own AI support agent — built with the same stack we'd build yours with. Ask it now.
02 / What You Get

Not a folder of files.
A website that works.

Findable

SEO + GEO

Standard SEO — sitemaps, structured data, page speed, mobile rendering — is included, written in during the build rather than added later.

The second layer is GEO: being findable by AI. We write the site in a format assistants can parse (structured data, llms.txt) so ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini can name you when someone asks about your field.

EVIDENCE This site runs a weekly AI crawler audit that verifies real Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini crawl activity against official IP ranges. Not a claim — a measurement.

Legible

DESIGN

Not a template. Layout, type, colour and copy rhythm start from your industry and your customers — selling a luxury service to forty-year-old owners is a different design problem from selling to twenty-year-old students.

Behind it is 30 years of creative direction, not dragged-and-dropped blocks. Your site should not look like your competitor's.

It brings customers back

AI CHAT + ANALYTICS

It answers. With the AI support chat added, it reads your actual product descriptions and price list rather than a canned FAQ. A customer asking at midnight whether you open on Sundays gets a real answer — and if it gets something wrong, the knowledge base is corrected the same day.

It keeps score. Where visitors came from, which pages they read, where they left. The useful number is not "300 visits this month" — it's "half the people who tapped Enquire dropped at step two". That's the kind of finding that changes a business.

No dashboard required. Enquiry forms push straight to your LINE or Telegram. Your phone buzzes the moment someone submits.

EVIDENCE The same stack runs in production for a game studio's support system, an e-bike rental booking site, and campaign landing pages.

It speaks another language

MULTILINGUAL · AI TRANSLATION

Chinese and English (or Chinese and Japanese) launched together. URL structure and hreflang tags — plain version: the markup that tells Google "these two pages are the same page in different languages" so neither is flagged as duplicate content — all handled properly. For export, tourism and education businesses this is a requirement, not decoration.

The translation is AI-generated with human review on key pages, and we say so. It's fast, it's inexpensive, and it reads well at marketing-copy level. For legal contracts or medical documentation, where wording has to be exact, we'll tell you to hire a professional translator — we won't dress AI output up as human work.

EVIDENCE 32 articles on this site publish bilingually and automatically. It's the pipeline we use ourselves, every day.

Nothing left on your plate

DOMAIN + OPS

Domain registration, DNS, HTTPS certificates (the padlock in the address bar), daily backups, uptime monitoring — all included. You will not be told halfway through to "just go and sign up for" something.

If the site goes down, I know before you do. Expired certificates and unresponsive servers trigger an alert, and it's usually fixed before a customer notices.

03 / Ownership

The site is yours. You are not renting it.

The domain is registered in your name. The source code is handed over. So is the repository. Switch maintainers, bring it in-house, move hosts — take it and go, without coming back to ask for a password.

That sounds obvious. A lot of what's on the market does not work that way.

Domain in your name Source code delivered Repository delivered No platform lock-in No mandatory monthly fee

05 / Add-ons

Add-ons. Pay for them only if you use them.

AI support chat

Reads your own product descriptions, pricing and FAQs, and understands conversational phrasing. Not a keyword-matching canned bot. Wrong answers can be corrected in the knowledge base the same day. Already running in several production systems.

Quoted by knowledge base size · pairs with the care plan

Site migration

From Wix, legacy WordPress or blog platforms. Every old URL mapped and 301-redirected — in plain terms, the old address forwards automatically and Google carries your accumulated ranking value over instead of resetting it.

Quoted by page count of the existing site

Copywriting

Not just layout. Turning "professional, reliable, customer-focused" into something a customer will actually read to the end. 30 years of advertising copy behind it.

Quoted by page count

Payment integration

Taiwanese gateways (ECPay, MyCard) and equivalents. Subscription and one-off billing both built before, in systems that genuinely collect money.

Quoted separately · requires your business registration and merchant account
INCLUDED AT LAUNCH

One branded mailbox

A you@yourdomain business mailbox, configured and handed over. No more running a company off a Gmail address.

First-year domain

First-year registration is on us, in your name. From year two the renewal runs about $15–25 a year, paid by you.

30 days of free revisions

For a month after launch, text, images and layout get adjusted until you're happy, at no extra cost.

06 / Care

After launch, someone still has to mind it.

Most sites don't fail because they were built badly. They fail because nobody watched them — a certificate expires, backups were never switched on, the host goes down and it takes three days for anyone to notice. The care plan is optional and there is no lock-in contract.

CARE PLAN
$35–100
per month · NT$1,000–3,000 / 月

Priced by site size and whether AI chat is included. Cancel any time — the site keeps running. You lose the backups, monitoring and reporting, not the website, which remains yours.

07 / Process

Four steps. You can see the progress.

01

Talk it through

30 minutes · quote same day

Online or in person. Your business, your customers, the problem you want solved. No selling you features you won't use — those are the ones that don't get renewed.

02

Design proposal

3 working days

You see the design before committing to the build. If it isn't right, you can stop here and pay only for the proposal.

03

Build and launch

5 working days – 4 weeks

Depending on tier. Includes domain registration, hosting setup, certificates and deployment. A staging URL lets you watch progress at any point.

04

Handover

30 days of revisions after launch

Domain, source code, repository and mailbox all handed to you, with written instructions. Whether you continue on a care plan is entirely your call.

Product landing page with playable demo

A quiz game with a counter-intuitive hook — questions you answer correctly become numbered collectible cards, which other players can then take from you. It had to be understood in seconds, and asking for an app download up front would have lost most of the traffic.

RESULT The landing page embeds the game itself: three questions playable with no download and no signup. Ad CTR of 11%, and the page converted that traffic into 210 registrations at NT$28.5 (about US$1) each.

09 / FAQ

Straight answers, no runaround.

How much does a website cost?

A one-page site starts at $300, a multi-page brand site at $600, and a functional site with forms and an admin dashboard at $1,200.

The final figure depends on page count and features. Once the quote is agreed it is the total — no hourly add-ons, no hidden fees.

What are a domain and hosting, and do I pay for them separately?

Your domain is your web address (yourshop.com), rented from a registrar year by year at roughly $15–25. Hosting is the server storing your files; static sites are cheap to host, usually well under $100 a year for a small site.

First-year domain registration is included in every package and registered in your name. From year two you renew it yourself — that way the domain stays permanently in your hands.

How long until the site is live?

One-page sites 5–7 working days, brand sites 2–3 weeks, functional sites 3–4 weeks, all including domain setup and deployment.

That assumes copy and images are ready. Late assets are the most common cause of delay, not build speed — you'll get a materials checklist at the first meeting.

Who owns the code and the domain after launch?

You do. The domain is registered in your name; the source code and repository are handed over to you.

You can switch maintainers, take it in-house or move hosts at any time, without coming back to us for access.

Can I edit the content myself?

Yes. Brand site packages and above ship with a content update method — Markdown files or a simple admin panel — so changing text or swapping images doesn't require paying a developer each time.

Written instructions come with the handover. If you'd rather not touch it, the care plan covers edits for you.

Can you migrate my old site without losing search rankings?

Yes. Every old URL is mapped to its new equivalent with a 301 redirect — in plain terms, the old address forwards automatically and Google is told the page moved rather than vanished, so accumulated ranking value transfers over.

Migrations from Wix, legacy WordPress and blog platforms have all been handled before.

How is the AI support chat different from a normal chatbot?

A typical FAQ bot matches keywords against a handful of pre-written answers. Rephrase the question and it fails.

Ours reads your own product descriptions, price list and FAQs, understands conversational phrasing, and answers from your material. Wrong answers are corrected in the knowledge base the same day. It's an add-on, and the same approach already runs in several production systems.

Is the translation human or AI?

AI-generated, with human review on key pages (home, services, contact). We state that openly rather than presenting it as fully human work.

It's fast, inexpensive, and reads well at marketing-copy level. For legal contracts or medical documentation, where wording must be exact, we'll tell you to hire a professional translator — that isn't AI's job.

Question not covered here? Ask the chat agent — it has read this whole page, and anything it can't answer gets passed to me.

and a quote same day.
